Scotland hoping to continue momentum
Scotland travel to Donnybrook this weekend to take on Ireland hoping to keep up the level of intensity that earnt them a historic win in Round 3.

Stevie Scott’s men recorded a stunning victory against England last time out, coming from ten points behind at half-time to beat the Red Rose 24-17 at Myreside Stadium.

Ireland, on the other hand, narrowly lost out to Wales by three points after pushing them to the final whistle in search of a comeback, and will be out to right the wrongs this weekend.

The Irish sit two points above Scotland in the standings, but with only two games left both will be desperate to climb the table.

Top two go head to head
After licking their wounds, England travel to Stade de la Méditerranée for another fixture on the road to face a high-flying French side that have scored almost 200 points in the Championship.

Les Bleuets put ten tries past Italy in Round 3 and will be eager to continue their fine form, whereas England will be keen to dispel their woes from the defeat to Scotland.

The French are sitting pretty at the top of the standings, four points ahead of the defending champions, but it could all change after this weekend’s action.

Italy seeking first win of the Championship
Having been on the receiving end of the French steam train, Italy will be hoping to move on quickly and cause an upset at Parc Eirias when they take on Wales.

The Welsh are riding high, showing solidity in defence to hold off an Irish comeback with a gritty performance in Dublin.

With a victory over the Italians on Friday night, Wales could overtake England in the standings if the French continue their winning streak, which will fuel the Welsh intensely.

But Italy pushed Ireland all the way in Round 2 of the Championship and would not lie down against the English in their opener either, and will be desperate to earn their first win to demonstrate their quality.
