Ireland under-20 star Andrew Conway is set to be handed another chance to shine on the senior stage after his virtuoso display against England.
The full-back ruined England’s chances of a RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam with two tries in a 22-10 win last weekend.
And Conway has been rewarded for this display by being named in the Leinster squad alongside under 20’s skipper Rhys Ruddock for their Magners League game against Cardiff Blues on Sunday.
“We’ve been particularly pleased with the under-20 players and they could be involved on Sunday,” said Leinster team manager Chris Whitaker.
“From a Leinster perspective it’s encouraging that we have been able to blood a few more players from the Academy this year.
“With the likes of Andy (Conway) making his debut in the Scarlets game recently, it gives encouragement to the rest of the players.”
